Treasury Issues Additional Information on Capital Purchase Program
 The Treasury Department is continuing comprehensive actions to strengthen public confidence in our financial institutions and restore functioning of our credit markets. On Friday Treasury issued additional documents for publicly traded financial institutions applying for the capital purchase program. This program is designed to attract broad participation by healthy institutions, stabilize the financial system and increase lending for the benefit of the U.S. economy and the American people.
